Welcome to Dagan Manahl’s Online Profile

Thank you for visiting!  I am happy you have decided to visit my blog.  I am currently seeking employment and I hope this blog is a way for you to get to know me and my abilities.  I also encourage you to rely upon this blog rather than the outdated and erroneous information that is currently returning at the top of the Google search option.  As the old adage goes, do not believe everything you read, on the internet or otherwise.

I find that my background falls into two categories, Market Research and Legal Administrative.  I would like to explain that while these two areas may seem unrelated, the skills acquired from each really are quite relevant to one another.  In addition, my educational background allows me to apply my skills and experience in a wide variety of ways.

In my most recent position in Consumer Market Research (CMR) I performed a dual role, as is oftentimes the case in today’s complex work environments.  The majority of my time was spent engaged in fieldwork, project management and analysis; which translates into customer engagement, client services, data analysis and research-related reporting utilizing Excel and PowerPoint.  The remainder of my time I was responsible for executive administrative tasks, such as complex travel management utilizing Concur and cliqbooks and meeting and event planning.  I was able to leverage my skills as an effective communicator and excellent customer service provider to my interior liaison role within the company.  This dual role required highly evolved organizational skills, critical thinking and exercising good judgment at all times.  Time management and the ability to quickly shift between tasks were essential to my success.

Prior to transitioning to the market research sector I was employed as a Legal Assistant/Secretary for both Plaintiff and Defense firms, in-house corporate and executive level (C level) administration.  I developed my skills in a wide variety of areas including client intake, legal research, document analysis and summation, legal document preparation, calendaring, trial readiness and complex litigation tasks.  I have been employed at the partner/executive level my entire career.  I performed a wide variety of tasks, some complex in nature, others deceptively simple yet vital to the success of my position and my employer.

Feedback I have received throughout my career consistently highlight the following skills and abilities:

  • Extremely organized and professional
  • Intelligent and exercises good judgment
  • Highly developed research and analysis skills; creative thinker
  • Excellent communicator, team player and positive contributor to both my employer and my workgroup
  • Calm and proactive rather than easily frustrated and reactive
  • Strives for error-free work product and always willing to assume new tasks in a positive manner
  • Knowledgeable about chosen field and a desire to develops skills throughout career
  • Ability to establish rapport quickly and connect with others in a positive manner

I am happy to provide my formal resume and discuss my background as well as answer any questions you may have at any time.  Please feel free to contact me via my blog or directly at daganm@sbcglobal.net

I look forward to hearing from you.  Best wishes and ongoing success…
